Glamour Makeover

A few weeks ago Imke had some friends over to practice some different make-up ideas. Everyone had a ball! It was a lot of fun chatting about choosing the right colour foundations or eye shadow to bring out the colour in your eyes.

I concentrated on taking a few head shots after the make-up was applied so they had something to remember the afternoon.

It was surprising how long everything took. It highlighted that cheaper boudoir packages with limited session time would impact on the quality of photography. Therefore we’ve decided to stick with the Impression or Sensuous experience as the shortest booking with at least one hours quality time in front of my camera.

Here are a few head shots of our friends that joined us.

After her makeover, I took a few glamorous head shots starting with butterfly lighting.

Next I moved the light to create short lighting, which is perfect for any beauty or glamour photography.

Before the makeover I took a few shots on my mobile phone so you can compare against a typical snap shot that you probably already have.

Positively glowing despite suffering from jet lag after spending a couple of months home in Chili. Not that I'm jealous or anything :-)

A little more relaxed makes for a beautiful glamour photography.

A tightly cropped head shot really brings your focus to her eyes and delightful expression.

A more traditional glamour portrait looks fabulous with Imke's great make-up. More refined and sophisticated this looks great wherever it's displayed.
