Recently we’ve had several inquiries from you wishing to do vintage glamour photo shoots. And even expect to be doing a vintage glamour bridal session later in the year for a wedding night gift.
The forties and fifties really were a period of awakening with women’s sexuality, which can really be seen in the styles from that era. The beautiful and very feminine lingerie from is perfect for boudoir, burlesque and pin-up photography for that larger than life appeal.Not everybody has their own vintage lingerie or props. I’ve been scouring eBay for some suitable items. So far we’ve refrained from purchasing lingerie as there are so many styles and of course sizes. However, I broke this rule when I bid on a couple of 50s style corsets.
Unfortunately I was outbid on one corset but did win the one seen here. Being laced up at the back, it should cover several sizes. It was listed as size 12 but suspect it will also look fabulous on size 14 and 16 clients.
We’ll get a few more in covering more sizes as we see them. And you’ll look fabulous in a corset like this whether you wear accompanying lingerie or not!
