What’s occurring
March has been an exciting month with many varied styles of photography with pregnancy, newborn baby, beauty, fine art nudes and bridal boudoir for that perfect wedding gift.
Nervous Bride
Over the last few days we’ve photographed a bridal boudoir as a rush job for a bride-to-be whose getting married in just over two weeks time! Normally we recommend brides come at least six weeks before hand. But when I received the enquiry last week I know we had to act quickly. The fact she does shift work helped in finding convenient times to meet.
We met at the end of last week. Fitting in with her shift job she came for her bridal boudoir session early Tuesday morning. Imke had to get up very early to do her make-up, but she still did a sterling job!
When she arrived for her photo shoot, she was very nervous and self conscious. But by the time we finished she was feeling much better despite finding it very traumatic. By complete contrast her friend, who chaperoned her, was totally jealous and can’t wait to get booked in for her session! As we say this is a totally unique experience and for some it can be very daunting – not that you’d know by her wonderful photos.
Our bride-to-be returned this morning at 8:00am to view her pictures after finishing her shift.
She could hardly believe her eyes!
She was amazed how fantastic she looked. She looked fabulous with great make-up, lighting, posing, being in front of my camera, and finishing touches with air brushing in Photoshop. Of course all this only enhances what is already there – all the time. But only after her true inner beauty had been realized could she see her true beauty that everyone else sees all the time. Needless to say, she was totally thrilled with her pictures.
Afterward our bride-to-be left I prepared her print order for a beautiful 16 x 12 inch portrait box of mounted prints.
Can you imagine the look on his face when he opens his perfect wedding night gift?

It’s really quite bizarre but recently many of my clients are called Sarah!

Down to business
Many improvements have been made behind the scenes over the last month. The main PatB Photography website has been upgraded with WordPress Thesis to match both this website and the wedding website. This was done just before a new release of Thesis came out, which I’ve incorporated across all the websites this afternoon. The latest release will help even more with Search Engine Optimization, which is great news as more people like minded people like you will discover what Inner Beauty Photography has to offer them.
After spending literally hundreds of hours on SEO it was a shock to hear my boudoir bride, mentioned above, only found me just before her booking. And this was despite searching for quite a while beforehand!
I’ve also just upgraded the data storage for all your images. Now your images are even safer from the dangers of a hardware failures.
After getting a third studio light in January it was disappointing to have all three develop faults at the beginning of March. Bowens were very good though. They fixed one flash head when I took them down to the factory. The other two lights were return just over a week later.

Beauty Tip – Be SEXY in a little black dress!
Every woman has heard of the little black dress. Something simple yet sexy. The dress that works for almost any occasion. And has the power to make you feel fantastic in less than thirty seconds!
The key to finding your perfect little black dress is to shop when you don’t have a particular event or need. When you’re shopping for an event you have a dead-line. Then you end up buying something you regret later.
When you see other women your shape or size that looks fabulous. Make a mental note of what why that dress makes her look stunning. Then look out for that style of dress yourself!
A flattering cut dress will make you feel sexy instantly. Especially if you’re showing some cleavage or a little more leg than you would do normally.
Get a matching pair of shoes with heels. This will give you a great posture to accentuate the curve of your legs. Complete your outfit with a small purse for the bare essentials.
Get ready to find your perfect little black dress. Look and feel sexy. Leave men drooling in your path.
