This beautiful portrait of Sarah scooped a bronze award for traditional portrait photography in last month’s SWPP competitions.
It was one of those moments when you see a picture within a picture. I was guiding Sarah through a series of pictures when I saw how lovely her face looked with the light giving perfect short lighting. This is sometimes called Rembrandt lighting due to the triangle of light formed on her check that is Rembrandt painted his subjects.
