Last month saw amazing results for the SWPP competition results. Although the gold still manages to elude me this year, I’m thrilled that every image I entered met the grade with seven bronzes and one silver award in total. If you’ve been following my blogs for a while you’ll know that the SWPP “raised the bar” this year and even reaching a bronze is a great achievement than ever before.
The SWPP is the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and is one of the largest professional photography organisation across the world.
This month I thought I’d write the details like a PR article. I hope you like it:
Suffolk based Boudoir Photographer, Pat Bloomfield of Inner Beauty Photography, scooped three bronze awards for boudoir photography in last month’s SWPP competitions; This was in addition to four bronze and one silver award for wedding photography under the trading name of PatB Wedding Photography. These glamour images were all taken out on location at some derelict farm out buildings in Suffolk on one of the few sunny days we had in August. My assistant for the afternoon used one of my reflectors to direct natural light onto the girls who were actually sheltered from direct sunlight. This produced a hard light for dramatic effect – the girls look like they’re under a spot light! The images were later enhanced using Photoshop and specialized add-ons to transform them into the beautiful images here.
