As mentioned in this month’s newsletter, I’ll be changing the design of this website. Now that I’ve sorted most of the issues on the Wedding Photography website, I’m now ready to start making changes changes here.
So don’t worry if the website changes appearance over the next few days or even from clicking from one page to the next. The website should remain available throughout.
Ha ha – famous last words!
Today I also noticed that the gallery images and those in blog articles that you can browse through don’t look their best. This wasn’t obvious using my main computer but is looks very bad when viewed on my laptop. You may notice a hallow around parts of the images. I believe this is due to the images being compressed and sharpened by the software that gives the gallery functionality.
Therefore, I’ll start looking for an alternative ways of displaying these – perhaps reverting back to displaying them in-line within the articles. I also want to increase the size of the images in the galleries so they are nearer to full screen size, so you can see the quality better. Although there is no substitute for seeing real prints when you come for your consultation
