Photographing women for profit

Last week I signed up to go on my first Superclass at this year’s SWPP convention.  It was a spur of the moment thing as the title just caught my eye while skimming through one of their newsletter – just shows the importance of headlines!

With a title like that you’d be forgiven for having dubious thoughts running through your head.  But this is all about improving your experience and giving you the products and services you desire.

The course is being run by leading portrait photographer Bjorn Thomassen and is business orientated rather than photography.

The objective of the course is about creating incentives that will appeal to you.  The superclass only has ten attendees so will be very intensive and perfectly focused on boudoir photography.  I hope to come away with many ideas to improve existing packages and create ones that you’ll love.

I’ve been tentatively watching the weather forecasts all week to see whether I’m likely to have problems driving into London.  Fortunately the temperatures are rising so everything should be OK.

Now it’s only a couple of days away it’s all getting quite exciting now.  As the course starts in the afternoon, I hope to get a few hours to look around the trade show – maybe I’ll get a bargain.

I’ll jot the main ideas down here after the course or write a new article.  This will give you an idea of great things coming in 2010 as well as remind me what I’ve promised :-)
