Welcome to Inner Beauty Photography a husband and wife team specializing in finest female portraiture.

I’m Pat Bloomfield LSWPP. your  photographer / artist.  And Imke, my wife, is your make-up artist.

My passion is artistic photography.  And creating beautiful imagery that thrills you is my inspiration.

My work constantly evolves through observing and being influenced by the very best photographers from around the world. Not only in capturing your images in camera but the whole process or retouching your images right through to having your fine art prints produced by one of UK’s top photographic labs.

My background in professional photography started with Motorsports, photographing club motorcycle racing – after retiring from club racing. This led to several articles being published in local newspapers.  Eventually I acquired a Media Pass to gain entry to top level race meetings such as British Superbikes.

At the same time I got involved in freelance glamour photography that I still hope will be published. My highlight to date is having one of my pictures published on the front cover of Alt Fashion magazine.

I’m a licentiate qualified member of the Society Wedding Portrait Photographers & British Professional Photographers Associate.

In 2008 I started entering the SWPP monthly competitions and have already had great success with  a few Golds and regularly Silver and Bronze.

In 2009 I joined forces as a Creative Partner with the UK Portrait Group.  They are promoting first class professional photography with their Creative Partners.  Only photographers who are qualified with a professional photographic organisation are eligible to become a creative partner.

I was also invited to join The Best of Ipswich in 2009 after being recommended for my creative photography and professional service.

Introducing Imke your make-up artist

Imke does your make-up to suit your eye colour, skin tones and lingerie.  She usually goes for  a natural look for boudoir so make-up is not distracting.  A 50s style pin-up shoot requires deep red lips and rouge on your upper cheeks but eye make-up is kept to a minimum.  Your make-up for glamour can be more elaborate going to town with bold colours and styling.
