I’m thrilled that this beautiful pregnancy photograph of Sarah did so well in last month’s SWPP photography competition achieving a silver award. Especially as this was one of Sarah’s favourite images!
After Sarah saw her maternity photography for the first time she told me:
“Thank you so much for yesterday I had a really good day – and was very brave!
…may end up with a few more pictures as I really like more than I thought I would (when I say that I mean I dont normally like looking at photographs of me but I love these)!“
Photography and photoshop skills have moved on considerably since I took this maternity photograph. And the competition standards have become much tougher too. These images may both have got Silver awards but they’re leagues apart.

Over the Christmas period we had a short break in Egypt. This was partly for my daughter as this will probably be the last chance for the whole family to go on holiday together; She’ll be going to university to study Bio-Chemistry!
